As good neighbours and European partners, Austria and Germany are very closely intertwined. Germany’s new Federal Government is keen to further deepen the strong relations and close coordination with Austria. The climate crisis is the most pressing shared challenge we face in our time. Austria’s climate policy is, for instance, a shining example in the mobility revolution field. We are united in our determination to move Europe forward, for example with a successful Conference on the Future, progress on the rule of law and a credible prospect of EU accession for the countries of the Western Balkans.
