We now have tragic confirmation that a German citizen was among the victims of the attack in Vienna. We offer our sympathy and condolences to her family and friends. We stand united with the people in Vienna and throughout Austria in our grief for the victims but also in our resolve to do everything in our power to oppose fanaticism and terrorism. To the perpetrators we now need to make one thing clear: you will never achieve your goal of dividing our society.
